The build is not a single stage. It is a sectional layout that includes a donut shop, an ice-cream truck, a basketball court element, and a record-player setting, each tied to a different scene from the 2020 music video. The vignettes are connected on a single base.

The seven minifigures are all unique to this set: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. This is the only LEGO product ever made featuring K-pop band minifigures. Each figure has a unique torso print referencing their Dynamite-era stage outfits.

How does the build experience compare?

Both are short-to-medium Ideas builds. The 21306 finishes in around 2 to 3 hours for an adult builder. The submarine assembles around a central spine with the periscopes, propeller and side hatches added near the end. The 21339 finishes in around 3 to 5 hours. The build is split between the four vignettes, each of which is essentially a small Ideas tableau. They display very differently. The 21306 is a single submarine-shape model with the four Beatles posed inside or beside it. It sits on around 25 cm of shelf space and reads correctly from any angle. The cartoon-film silhouette is the visual anchor.
