Price Match Guarantee

At BuyMyBricks.com, we want you to shop with confidence. If you find the same sealed, retired or rare LEGO® set advertised at a lower price by another eligible UK retailer, we’ll do our best to match their price.

What our Price Match covers

We will consider a price match where all of the following conditions are met:

  • The competitor is a UK-based, VAT-registered business retailer with their own website (not a marketplace-only seller).
  • The item is the exact same LEGO set:
    • Same set number
    • Same edition / version
    • Brand new and factory sealed in original retail packaging
  • The competitor’s price is:
    • In stock and available to buy now
    • Publicly advertised on their website (no hidden quotes)
    • Inclusive of VAT and shipping to a UK address
    • Shown in GBP (£)

When we compare prices, we look at the total amount you would pay to the competitor, including VAT, shipping and mandatory fees.

What we don’t match

We can’t offer a price match in the following situations:

  • Prices from private sellers or individuals on:
    • eBay
    • Facebook Marketplace
    • Gumtree
    • Vinted
    • Depop
    • BrickLink (private accounts)
    • Amazon (including all marketplace / third-party sellers and items sold or fulfilled by Amazon)
  • Prices shown only on online marketplaces, comparison sites or third-party platforms where the seller is not a clearly identifiable UK VAT-registered retailer with its own website.
  • Auction-style listings, bids, best-offer negotiations or completed sale prices on auction sites.
  • Items that are out of stock, on pre-order or listed as “back in stock soon”.
  • Prices that depend on:
    • Voucher codes or coupon codes not available to all customers
    • Loyalty points or reward schemes
    • Bulk or trade-only discounts
    • Bundle deals where the same bundle is not sold on BuyMyBricks.com
  • Items that are not in the same condition as our stock, including:
    • Used, opened or resealed sets
    • Damaged, crushed or heavily marked boxes
    • Non-retail packaging or loose sets
  • Obvious pricing errors or misprints on a competitor’s website.

How to request a Price Match

  1. Find the LEGO set on BuyMyBricks.com
    Note the product name and set number of the item you want to buy from us.
  2. Collect the competitor details
    Make sure you have:
    • The competitor’s website URL showing the price
    • A screenshot of the product page, including price and stock status
    • Confirmation the price includes VAT and UK shipping
  3. Contact us before you buy
    Email our customer support team at support@buymybricks.com with:
    • The link to the competitor’s product page
    • Your screenshot of the competitor price
    • The link to the same item on BuyMyBricks.com
  4. We’ll review your request
    If your request meets our criteria, we will:
    • Confirm the price match in writing, and
    • Provide a discount code or adjust the price so you can buy at the matched price.

VAT & shipping

To ensure a fair comparison, all prices must be calculated on a like-for-like basis including VAT and shipping.

  • If a competitor shows prices excluding VAT, we will add VAT to see the true price you would pay.
  • If a competitor charges for delivery, we add that shipping cost to their price before comparing.
  • If they offer “free shipping”, we treat their product price as their total price.

We then compare that total with the total you would pay at BuyMyBricks.com.

Final conditions

  • All price match requests must be approved before purchase. We can’t apply a price match after an order has been placed.
  • Price matches are considered on an item-by-item basis. For multiple quantities, we may review each case individually.
  • We may limit the number of units eligible for a price match on a single order or per customer.
  • All price matches are granted at the discretion of BuyMyBricks.com. If your request doesn’t meet the criteria above, we may decline but will always aim to be fair and transparent.
