Polybag vs full set. 30683 McLaren F1 (polybag, around 30 pieces) is not 76918 McLaren Solus (the full set). Polybags sit at gift-with-purchase prices. Always check piece count.
Two-pack assumptions. Many 8-stud “two-pack” sets (76903 Lamborghini Sian, 76904 Mopar Dodge, 76918 McLaren) ship with two cars in one box at the same price as some single-car sets. Check the contents before assuming.
F1 sets are still in production. The 2024-25 F1 grid sets are not retired. They are current LEGO retail. If you see a “retired” tag on a 77240+ F1 set, treat it sceptically.
